MBTA BOARD MEETS TONIGHT

At today’s 5 p.m. meeting of the Morongo Basin Transit Authority, the board of directors will meet first in a closed session to discuss a lawsuit against the transit authority, brought by Pamela Rutherford. In open session, the board will hear reports from staff before adopting an update to the Title VI program. Next, the board will elect a new chair, vice-chair, and secretary.

The public is welcome at today’s meeting which takes place at the MBTA Operations Center on Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
