At Thursday’s (December 8) meeting of the Morongo Basin Transit Authority, directors will recognize the employee of the quarter. Following staff reports, directors will be asked to approve a five percent increase in the base salaries for the general manager and the director of cooperative purchasing and grants. Directors will then hear a presentation on a shuttle service to Joshua Tree National Park. The meeting starts at 4 p.m. at the MBTA Operations Center, 62405 Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
