At Thursday’s (June 27) meeting of the Morongo Basin Transit Authority, the board of directors will begin with a closed session during which it will discuss performance evaluations of the general manager and the procurement director. In open session, the board will be asked to approve changes to their contracts. And finally, the board will be asked to approve the operating and capital budgets. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the MBTA Operations Center, 62405 Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
