At today’s (February 28) meeting of the Morongo Basin Transit Authority, the board of directors will recognize the employee of the quarter. Next the board will go into closed session to discuss purchasing properties. After administrative reports, the board will elect new officers. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the MBTA Operations Center, 62405 Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
