At tonight’s (December 13) meeting of the Morongo Basin Transit Authority, the board of directors will a departing board member. Next, the board will discuss a facility tour, be asked to authorize the purchase of a new vehicle, and award a contract for a short-range transit plan. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the MBTA Operations Center, 62405 Verbena Road in Joshua Tree.
