Morongo Basin Transit Authority Board of Directors will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday, February 26, at the MBTA Operations Center on Verbena Road in Joshua Tree. The board will recognize a retired employee and the employee of the quarter. After administrative and operations reports, the board will hear a presentation on unmet needs. The board will then go into closed session to discuss personnel matter concerning the general manager/director of cooperative purchasing and grants, and then come back into open session to approve the director’s contract.
