Debra Savitt has been tapped to fill the vacant seat and was sworn in last week during a special business meeting, following candidate interviews. Savitt will complete the remainder of the term of office through December 2022. Five candidates were interviewed by the board at the special meeting. “The quality of the candidates was impressive,” said Dianne Markle-Greenhouse, President of the Board. “We are grateful that so many qualified residents are willing to support our community by serving on the healthcare District’s Board of Directors.”
Director Savitt’s term concludes December 2022, and she will have to seek election by ballot to serve a full term of office.
