MBCA ANNUAL MEETING TOMORROW ASKS, “WHAT ABOUT MY WATER”

The Morongo Basin Conservation Association’s 2017 annual meeting is this Saturday, January 28, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Center for Healthy Generations in Yucca Valley. The main topic is entitled, “What about my water?” It promises to bring together leaders from the water district’s serving Morongo Basin. They will discuss some of the challenges faced in each area as well as some of their conservation achievements. Also on Saturday, Yucca Valley High School science educator Cindy Zacks will be honored for her work, and the Conservation Association’s Ruth Denision Environmental Conservation Scholarship will be announced. The Center for Healthy Generations is at 57121 Sunnyslope Drive.
