The Yucca Valley Planning Commission heard details last night of two major stores moving in. Managing editor Tami Roleff was there…
The plan for Marshall’s and Petco in Yucca Valley is on the fast track. At its meeting last night, the Yucca Valley Planning Commission held a site plan review for the two retail stores, which will be built in front of Home Depot, and was told that the goal was to have ground breaking for the project in January, have the developer give the keys to the owners by mid May, with the stores opening in June or July. Marshall’s will be about 24,650 square feet, and Petco, 10,000 square feet. Commissioner Vickie Bridenstine explained why she was happy to see the project come to Yucca Valley. “Because it’s generating sales tax dollars that will stay in this community.”
