The Yucca Valley Planning Commission got an update on construction projects planned for the area this week. Managing Editor Tami Roleff says some familiar names are coming to the area, including a unique tenant for the old Wal-Mart building…
The Yucca Valley Planning Commission got an update, at its meeting Tuesday night, on projects that are coming to the Town. In the pre-application process is a project for Marshalls and Petco for the pads in front of the Home Depot. “Pre-application” means the developer is exploring the requirements, process and timeline for the project, and does not necessarily mean the developer will build the project, although commissioners were told the developer is committed to investing in Yucca Valley. In addition, the Planning Department has heard that Tractor Supply Company has signed a lease for a portion of the old Wal-Mart building. And finally, the Planning Department expects to get a grading plan for the golf course in a couple weeks, with construction set to begin November 1.
