LABOR DAY FIREWORKS SET FOR LANDERS THIS WEEKEND

Fireworks! Start your Labor Day Weekend with a bang at the 3rd Annual “Farewell to Summer” Community Fair & Fireworks at Homestead Valley Park in Landers on Saturday, August 31. Admission is free. Gates open at 5 p.m.The Marine Color Guard ceremony with the Young Marines is at 6 p.m. then soon after dark, you guessed it, ka-boom! There will be all kinds of music, performed live by Joanie Francis & The Boomers. For kids there’s face painting, a bounce house, and games. Come enjoy the hotdogs, ice cream specialties, margaritas, and the Beer Garden. Homestead Valley Park is on Belfield Boulevard between Reche and Linn roads in Landers.
