Early bird admission tickets for the 10th Annual Johnson Valley Oktoberfest are on sale now for $8 per person; tickets go to $12 per person after September 28. Octoberfest is set for Saturday, October 12. That day, the patio Beer Garden opens at 3 p.m. with nine craft beers and two hard ciders on tap. Enjoy free, fresh-baked pretzel bites with your brew. Admission includes a buffet of authentic German dishes and dessert bar from 5 to 6 p.m. Purchase your early bird tickets by calling 760-364-2646; or pick them up at any Johnson Valley Saturday Breakfast, at the September 7 Lasagna Dinner, or at the Homestead Valley Community Council meeting on Monday, September 16, at Belfield Hall in Landers. Can’t attend on October 12? Buy a ticket to support the Johnson Valley Improvement Association anyway.
