MARINES START JOHNSON VALLEY EXERCISE SUNDAY

The Marine Corps will be conducting large-scale military exercises on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management in Johnson Valley starting this Sunday. The shared use area will be temporarily closed to the public between August 14 and 21. The Marine Corps has already announced that it will use the area for the entire month of August next year, in 2017.
