Traci Wilson has been named the 2020 Armed Forces Insurance Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Spouse of the Year. This will be Wilson’s second year in a row winning the title.

Recognized for her work in education and particularly special education. Wilson works with both spouses and children. Wilson is the wife of Sergeant Major Daniel Wilson, 3d Battalion, 4th Marines Battalion Sergeant Major at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center.

A native of Pueblo, Colorado, Wilson has long been involved with Special Olympics. When Wilson had her own child with a disability, she learned first-hand the challenges that exist in schools and society. Wilson volunteers with the National Military Family Association that provides scholarships to military spouses hoping to continue their education or start a business.

As a base winner, Wilson is now in the running to being named the overall winner after a final vote conducted on March 3-4. That name will be announced at an awards dinner on May 7 at The Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA, in conjunction with National Military Spouse Appreciation Day on May 8.
