Marine killed during training in a vehicle rollover accident

A marine was killed in a vehicle rollover during a training exercise at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center this weekend.

On Saturday (July 27), a Marine assigned to Tactical Training Exercise Control Group was involved in rollover while in a high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle during a Service Level Training Exercise. The Marine, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital in Twentynine Palms for treatment, and then transferred to Desert Regional Medical Center. He died from his injuries on Sunday (July 28)

The cause of the rollover is currently under investigation.
