MARINE DIES ON BASE DURING PHYSICAL TRAINING YESTERDAY

A Marine died during physical fitness training at the Combat Center in Twentynine Palms Wednesday (April 15). Brigadier General Roger Turner said in a statement on Facebook that the Marine collapsed while training and was rushed to the Naval Hospital. Despite performing immediate life-saving measures, the Marine died. The cause of death is under investigation. The Marine’s name has not been released.
