Representatives from the Marine Corps will host a public meeting today to discuss upcoming training in the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area. The meeting will be held at the Johnson Valley Community Center today from 10 a.m. to noon. Marine Corps representatives will discuss temporary land closures in the Johnson Valley area and public safety information. The Marine Corps recently announced it plans to conduct its large-scale exercise for two weeks this August, instead of during the entire month, as planned. The public is invited to attend.
