The Marine Corps has announced it will temporarily close the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area to the public Thursday, April 30, through Monday, May 11 2020 to conduct military training. The adjacent Johnson Valley Off Highway Vehicle Recreation Area, managed by the BLM, will remain open to the public during the closure. Off-road enthusiasts can also enjoy the nearby Stoddard Valley OHV Open Area. Other dates the shared use area will be closed to the public are October 30-November 9, 2020, and October 29 through November 8, 2021. For more information, visit the link below.
