Due to the government shutdown, the Commanding General’s Annual Car Show, scheduled for Saturday, October 5, on the Marine base in Twentynine Palms, has been cancelled. Marine Corps Community Services, MCCS, has a skeleton staff in place, and is still trying to determine how to issue refunds to those who reserved a spot in advance for the car show, and whether the show will be rescheduled.
