MARINE BASE, BLM, HOST MEETING ON USE OF JOHNSON VALLEY ORV AREA

Representatives from the Marine Corps and the Bureau of Land Management will host a meeting about changes in land use in the Johnson Valley area Saturday, August 16. They will discuss future training aboard the base and shared land use. State agencies, Off-Highway Vehicle interest groups, and environmental advocacy groups are the primary audiences; however all interested groups, organizations and members of the public are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held 1 to 3 p.m. August 16 at the Lucerne Valley Community Center, 33187 Old Woman Springs Road, Lucerne Valley.
