In keeping with the theme of “patriotic parade,” the grand marshal for the 65th annual Grubstake Days parade is the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center. Numerous entries from the Marine Corps base will participate in the parade. In addition, the Marine Corps Band-San Diego will be marching in the parade. The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce needs sponsors to help pay the band’s travel expenses of $1400. To make a donation to help cover the cost of the Marine band, call 760-365-6323.
