A Marine was arrested Wednesday, accused of being in possession of child pornography. Morongo Basin Sheriff’s deputies received a tip May 14 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Robert Barrett, 19, of Oceanside, had uploaded images of child pornography to his Dropbox account while he was stationed at the Twentynine Palms Combat Center. An arrest warrant was issued for Barrett. On Wednesday, Morongo Basin deputies went to Camp Pendleton in Oceanside and arrested Robert Barrett for investigation of being in possession of child pornography. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
