The Mara’s Christmas Wish elves are already busy planning the 36th annual Christmas buffet and toy give-away. Volunteers are needed to help decorate the community center prior to Christmas Day, assist with setting up on Christmas morning, serving food on Christmas Day, and taking down and storing the decorations on December 26. Six meetings for volunteers will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Cholla Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center on the following dates: October 8, 22, November 12, and December 3, 10, and 17.
