Instead of a massive buffet dinner on Christmas, the organizers of Mara’s Christmas Wish will be giving away boxed turkey dinners from Von’s tomorrow, December 12. When the boxed dinners run out, they will hand out gift cards to Stater Brothers or Bargain Outlet grocery stores. Toys for children will be handed out at the same time. The give-away will be a drive-through event, and starts at 9 a.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center. To help the organizers plan for the meal, residents are asked to register in advance at the link below.
