Government offices, schools, the post office, banks, the County court system, MBTA bus service, and most businesses were closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Some agencies; including the courts, Copper Mountain College, the Town of Yucca Valley, and the City of Twentynine Palms; will be closed today as well. Burrtec Waste and Recycling will delay its trash pick-up by one day.
