Government offices, businesses, and schools will be closed this Monday, February 17, for President’s Day. The Town of Yucca Valley and the City of Twentynine Palms will both be closed, as well as post offices, the county courthouse, and other government offices. The Morongo Unified School District and Copper Mountain College will be closed and no classes will be held from February 14 -17 for the federal holiday. Most banks will also be closed that Monday. Burrtec Waste and Recycling will operate as usual.
