A man’s body was found alongside a road in Yucca Valley this morning. Rescue personnel and Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 3800 block of Balsa Avenue in the Yucca Mesa neighborhood of Yucca Valley about 8:15 a.m., where the body was found on the east side of Balsa. Sheriff’s Captain Trevis Newport said the man was pronounced deceased at the scene; the cause and manner of his death is still unknown, and he has not been identified yet. Sheriff’s detectives have been called in to investigate.
