The Mane Street Stampede Wild West Show is looking for volunteers to perform on Saturday afternoons from April until October, 2:30 to 3 p.m., in Pioneertown. They are an all-volunteer, family-oriented, comedy-style gunfighter re-enactment group, dedicated to family values and local children’s charities. They perform in the footsteps of Gene Autry and the Cisco Kid, who shot TV shows and films right here in the 1950s. Performances are staged in front of Pioneer Bowl on Mane Street. No acting experience necessary. For more information call 760-366-3333 for Paden or Curly or meet them on the set after 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
