A Studio City man was arrested in Twentynine Palms Wednesday after a stolen vehicle was traced to a residence where he was staying. Sheriff’s deputies were contacted just before 2 a.m. that a 2020 brown Toyota Tundra had been stolen in Ventura County, and that the vehicle’s GPS tracking signal showed it was at a home in the 6500 block of Mojave Avenue in Twentynine Palms. When deputies went to the home, they located the stolen truck along with Earnest Hooks, 45. Earnest Hooks was arrested for investigation of being in possession of a stolen vehicle, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
