A man who had a warrant for his arrest—and his Twentynine Palms girlfriend—were arrested Sunday. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6900 block of Datura Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 12:30 p.m. because Miguel Rodriguez, 20, was causing conflict and the homeowner wanted him gone. When the deputy arrived, Rodriguez—who has a no-bail felony warrant for his arrest from Los Angeles County, was gone, and his girlfriend, Denice Sausedo, 25, said he had taken her car but she didn’t know where he was. The deputy explained that if she knew where Rodriguez was, she needed to tell deputies or she could be charged as an accessory. She again denied knowing Rodriguez’s whereabouts. About two hours later, the deputy located Sausedo’s vehicle with Sausedo and another friend in it, in the 72200 block of Sunnyslope Drive in Twentynine Palms. The friend said Denice asked him to pick her up and bring her to Rodriguez’s house so they could leave town together. Denice Sausedo was arrested for investigation of being an accessory, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $25,000. Miguel Rodriguez was arrested for his felony warrant, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, and is being held without bail.
