MAN SHOT, INJURED IN YUCCA VALLEY

A man was shot in Yucca Valley Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff’s Lieutenant Mike Walker said the victim called deputies at 2:05 p.m. to say he had been shot near the 56700 block of Cassia Drive. He was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with a non-life-threatening injury. Detectives have no information about a suspect at this time.
