A man received minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Joshua Tree this morning. About 5 a.m., a pick-up truck and a Suzuki SUV collided on the highway near Rotary Way. The Suzuki spun out, and Joshua Tree firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver, who received minor injuries. He was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
