Man on prison post-release arrested for suspicion of domestic abuse and imprisonment

A man recently released from prison was arrested for suspicion of domestic abuse and imprisonment. On Tuesday, (December 19) County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of domestic abuse.

A suspect in the abuse was identified as Joseph Salazar, 25, a man on post-release community supervision, and he was arrested by deputies.

Joseph Salazar was arrested on suspicion of injuring a spouse/cohabitant or date, false imprisonment, and violating post release community supervision. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held without bail.
