MAN KILLED IN TWENTYNINE PALMS MONDAY IDENTIFIED AS A MARINE

The victim in a Monday fatal stabbing in Twentynine Palms was a 21-year-old Marine from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where his family lives. Dominique
Clement was attacked and killed in the Vista Del Sol Military housing complex near Luckie Park. He was stationed at the nearby Twentynine Palms U.S. Marine base. William Olivo, 25, also of Twentynine Palms, was arrested in connection with the killing after responding deputies found him outside the residence armed with a knife. He was booked the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held on $1 million bail for investigation of murder, assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats, and intimidating a witness.
