MAN INJURED WHEN MOTORCYCLE CRASHES INTO MAILBOX IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

One man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in Twentynine Palms just after midnight today. Firefighters and Morongo Basin Ambulance were called to the crash at Desert Queen Avenue and Buena Vista at 12:15 a.m. County Fire Captain Danny Stamps said the man lost control of his motorcycle and ran into a mailbox. MBA took the man to Hi-Desert Medical Center where he was flown to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with non-life-threatening injuries.
