A 25-year-old Twentynine Palms man was seriously injured following a stabbing and carjacking in Twentynine Palms Friday night. According to a Sheriff’s report, the unidentified victim was confronted by several men in a parking lot at Adobe Road and Buena Vista about 10:30 p.m. Friday. A fight ensued and one of the suspects stabbed the victim in the back. The suspects then stole the man’s car and fled. A witness called 911 and the victim was flown to a trauma center where he was treated for life-threatening injuries. As of Sunday, he is in stable condition. At this time, the suspects are unknown; anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
