MAN INJURED IN OFF-ROAD VEHICLE CRASH

An off-road accident near Highway 247 and Boone Road on Sunday afternoon left one man with a traumatic hand injury. While in an off-road vehicle, an approximately 25-year-old male was driving at low speeds with a female passenger in her early twenties when he lost control and flipped multiple times about 1:25 p.m. The woman was found to have no critical injuries from the accident while the male driver was treated on scene by Morongo Basin Ambulance for his traumatic injury and then flown to Loma Linda for further evaluation and care.
