Sketchy details on an apparent hit-and-run Saturday night in Morongo Valley. About 11:20, Morongo Valley firefighters responded to a call of a man lying in the middle of Senilis Road, just west of Hess Boulevard. When paramedics arrived, they found the unidentified man lying on the ground in a fetal position with obvious, severe injuries. He was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. The California Highway Patrol believes he was struck by a vehicle which then fled the scene. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Highway Patrol at 760-366-3707.
