MAN FIRES SHOTGUN TO GET FASTER DEPUTY RESPONSE, HE GOT IT

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday after he fired a shotgun into the dirt in order to get Sheriff’s deputies to respond to his home faster for a burglary report. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 9:22 a.m. Saturday, the wife of Isaac Henson, 57, called to report a petty theft at their home in the 58400 block of Campanula Street. At 10:45 a.m., upset that deputies had not responded yet, Isaac Henson allegedly took his shotgun and fired several rounds into a dirt berm along his driveway, to get them respond immediately. Isaac Henson was arrested for investigation of discharging a firearm in town limits, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, cited and released. He was also given a Sheriff’s report for the petty theft.
