Sheriff’s Corporal E. Popa has confirmed that Randy Anderson, who was arrested on suspicion of breaking windows and assault on Sunday morning, November 29, near the Jelly Donut area in Yucca Valley, is a suspect in the Dollar General window-breaking incident.
Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who broke the glass door at the Yucca Valley Dollar General store Saturday night. According to a Sheriff’s report, the store manager locked the doors at 10 p.m. About 3 minutes later, a man tried to enter the store, and when he discovered the doors were locked, he broke the door’s glass with a crow bar and then left. A witness called 911 to report the break-in. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
