MAN ARRESTED IN YUCCA VALLEY FOR FAILURE TO YIELD AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT

We have limited information on a Perris man arrested in Yucca Valley accused of failing to yield to deputies.  On Thursday (January 27) around 11:30 p.m., deputies reportedly responded to a driver traveling at over 100 mph through Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree, near Highway 62 and Barberry Avenue with no regard for other people. According to Sheriff logs, Marquice Colter, 27, was identified as the driver and taken into custody for investigation of felony failure to yield. Marquice Colter was also arrested for investigation of child endangerment at the same time and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
