A man who was wanted on a felony no-bail warrant was arrested in Yucca Valley Tuesday afternoon after a brief chase. About 1:45, a deputy attempted to stop Kyle Brown, 26, who was riding an unlicensed dirt bike without a helmet near Joshua Lane and Hardesty Drive. Brown ditched the bike and took off southbound through a residential area on Hardesty, while the deputy tried to follow in the patrol car. Brown circled back to his dirt bike and started riding it southbound on Hardesty to the end of the road, where the deputy found him and tried to cut him off. Brown turned around on Hardesty and turned eastbound onto Nogales Court, where he was trapped and captured by the deputy, who arrested him for investigation of felony failure to yield, and for violating his parole. Kyle Brown was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail on a no-bail warrant, and $100,000 for the failure to yield charge. In April, Kyle Brown was convicted of attempting to threaten a witness, and attempting terrorist threats. He is scheduled to be in court today for violating the terms of his parole.
