MAN ARRESTED FOR KEYING CARS IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A man who was mad about being kicked out of a Twentynine Palms restaurant was arrested early Wednesday morning, accused of keying about a dozen cars in a car lot. According to a Sheriff’s report, Michael Tuohey, 37, identified as a construction worker from Jacksonville, North Carolina, was asked to leave the Denny’s restaurant because he was causing trouble. Restaurant workers say Tuohey walked across the street to the Motor City car lot where he started keying cars and breaking car windows shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday. After an investigation, Michael Tuohey was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and released about 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
