MAN ARRESTED AFTER FIRING A GUN AT A YUCCA VALLEY PARTY

A man was arrested Saturday night after he fired a gun during a party in Yucca Valley. About 8:30 p.m. Saturday, the Sheriff’s department received multiple calls about shots fired in the 1400 block of Hilton Avenue in the Yucca Mesa area of Yucca Valley. Deputies found shotgun shells and 45-caliber rounds in the front yard, and after an investigation, Jacob Landrith, 27, who was intoxicated, was arrested on suspicion of discharging a firearm. Jacob Landrith was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
