Charges of sloppy, misleading, and inadequate public notification about housing, solar, and retail projects were made at the last meeting of the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council. In an effort to improve the situation, the Land Use Services committee of the MAC is holding a public workshop Monday morning February 24 at 9 am, to develop ideas for what should be in the notification process. The workshop meets in Conference Room 1 of the Joshua Tree Community Center at 6171 Sunburst Road.
