One More From the Road, the premier Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, rocks the house Southern style tonight at Tortoise Rock’s free Live at the Rock concert. The outdoor stage at Twentynine Palms’ only casino comes alive at 8 p.m. with Skynyrd classics including “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Double Trouble,” “Saturday Night Special,” and others. It’s been exactly 40 years since the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band met an untimely end when their plane went down in a Mississippi swamp. “One More From The Road” is the closest thing to Skynyrd you will ever see or hear. The free Live at the Rock concert series happens every Friday night through October.
