Tomorrow’s Brown Bag Lecture at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum will celebrate our beautiful desert. Assignment Reporter Taylor Thacker has details.
To an outsider, the desert seems like an endlessly boring landscape containing no life. However, to a desert enthusiast, the Joshua Tree National Park is a beautiful place teeming with life. On Thursday, March 14, starting at noon, Mitzi Harding will teach you how to see the wonderful desert through the eyes of the enthusiasts. Called Palms and Orchids, Flowers and Ferns, this event will take place at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum as part of the Winter Lecture Series. Coffee will be served. Come out and learn what our spectacular desert has to offer. For more information call 760-369-7212.
