The City of Twentynine Palms Parks and Recreation Department has announced that Luckie Park Pool will reopen just in time for the summer season on May 27. The pool was closed in August 2022 for a complete $6.4 million dollar renovation, with funding coming from both the City and the State of California.
When the pool reopens on May 27, it is scheduled to be open weekends at first, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with weekday hours beginning on June 1. Hours will continue to expand throughout the summer.
A Grand Opening Pool Party is scheduled for June 16.
The Pool will be open the weekends of May 27-29 and June 3-4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Daily Public Swim will begin June 10 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and run through August 20.
After that, the Luckie Park Pool will be open the weekends of August 26-27 and September 2-4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Adult Lap Swim will be available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. beginning June 12. Adult Swim will be available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning June 12.
The Luckie Park Pool is a cash only facility. The entry fee for children (2-17) and adults is $4.28. Seniors (55+) are $2.67. A 20 Entry Punch Pass can be purchased for $38.48 and iis valid for public swim only. Punches will be counted per person entering using the pass.
An Adult Lap Swim and Adult Swim Season Pass can be purchased for $33.14.
