A Los Angeles man was arrested late Wednesday night, after deputies were called to a Joshua Tree home for a welfare check. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies received a request about 10 p.m. Wednesday to make a welfare check at a home in the 61400 block of La Jolla Drive in Joshua Tree. The caller said a woman had been fighting with a man at the location. A juvenile was also at the home. Arriving deputies found Delano Washington, 42, who had a felony warrant for his arrest. Delano Washington was arrested on his out-of-county arrest warrant, booked at West Valley Detention Center, and is being held with no bail.
