Two people were arrested early Thursday morning after detectives on surveillance spotted them breaking into a Yucca Valley business. Detectives from Los Angeles were conducting surveillance at a location in Yucca Valley when, about 2:30 a.m., they saw two suspects force entry into the Juice It Up smoothie and juice bar and then try to flee with stolen cash. The detectives were able to detain the suspects, one of whom was identified as David Burks, 23, of Los Angeles. David Burks was arrested on suspicion of burglary and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000. Information on the second suspect was not available.
